Delayed posttraumatic diaphragmatic hernia

Abstract

|
|
We have experienced two cases of delayed posttraumatic diapharagmatic hernia. First case is 64 years old male patient who had left sided diaphragmatic hernia after traffic accident of 40 years age. Second case is 25 years old male patient who had right sided diaphragmatic hernia after traffic accident of 6 years ago. Two patients were successfully operated under thoracotomy with or without Dacron patch prosthesis for repair of diaphragmatic defect.
